Yesterday Microsoft unveiled their new Windows 8 tablet under the Surface branding. This “iPad killer” is clearly intended to make people take Redmond seriously as a consumer product company. With the Metro Ux style being so authentically mobile nothing should make the case for Windows 8 better than a tablet. As Designers, however, we question whether this device has a Strong Center.
